  Course Description :
 

Full-time clinical placement doing marriage and family therapy in a community setting.

  Course Objectives / Goals:
 
  1. Demonstrate advanced competence in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment in marriage and family therapy.

  2. Demonstrate ability to work with a variety of individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds.

  3. Demonstrate ethical standards in the practice of marriage and family therapy.

  4. Effectively manage the paperwork and other administrative aspects of full time clinical work in marriage and family therapy.

  Workload:
 

3 hours per week per credit
