Program participants discuss learning theory and strategies, develop teaching and assessment skills, create classroom and job search materials, and work with faculty from regional institutions.

Teaching Enrichment Series: Courses provided by the Center for Teaching and Learning Services to provide graduate students with the tools they need to teach courses at the University of Minnesota. Topics include: WebCT, Speaking and Lecturing tips, creating a teaching portfolio, launching a dissertation, grading, and many more.

McGrath Library Workshops: Attend a hands-on library session to enhance your information skills.

Student Writing Support: Free writing instruction for all University of Minnesota students—graduate and undergraduate—at all stages of the writing process. In face-to-face and online collaborative consultations, they help students develop productive writing habits and revision strategies. Some instructors specialize in working with non-native speakers, and others have experience with writing in specific disciplines. They have multiple locations on campus. They also have a list of online resources for dissertation writers.
