	Marriage & Family Therapy Program
	Overview Our mission is to educate and mentor the next generation of leaders and agents of social change in the field of marriage and family therapy.   Program Emphases We integrate family science and MFT in a coherent way. We have a strong emphasis on research, which we view from a broad range of methodologies, including quantitative, qualitative, and community based participatory research We have a diverse faculty who do research with diverse communities We have special faculty expertise in community engagement with marginalized groups and those in the mainstream of society. Supervision Training Program Third year MFT doctoral students are eligible to apply for the supervision practicum.  They provide supervision to masters students whose academic programs give approval. This supervision is supervised by MFT faculty members and meets a portion of the requirements for AAMFT approved supervisor status
