Part of the Community Engaged Parent Education Project is to evaluate the effectiveness of the Community Engaged Parent Education mentoring curriculum and methodology. Questionnaires, class and training observations, minutes from mentor and intern meetings, and parent feedback will be used to evaluate the following hypotheses:
1) Early Childhood Family Education parent educators participating in the Community Engaged Parent Education program will develop Community Engaged Parent Education skills and demonstrate effective implementation of those skills in their parent education classes.
2) Early Childhood Family Education mentor parent educators will develop Community Engaged Parent Education mentoring skills and demonstrate effective implementation of those skills in their parent education classes.
3) Parents instructed in Community Engaged Parent Education will positively evaluate the Community Engaged Parent Education learning experience and demonstrate increased understanding of their role as community engaged parents.
