Parenting Teens is a website that bridges research and outreach. It is designed to connect:

  1. parents and professionals with information about the Study of Healthy Youth Experimentation conducted by Jodi Dworkin, Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota
  2. parents with reliable and practical information on parenting and youth development; and
  3. professionals with research-based resources on parenting and youth development.

About Us

Principal Investigator
Jodi Dworkin is an Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in the Department of Family Social Science. She earned her Ph.D. in 2002 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Graduate Research Assistant
Kevin M. Green, M.S., CFLE is a doctoral student at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in the Department of Family Social Science. Kevin has been a part of this project since 2002.
