Promoting the economic well-being of families in Minnesota and beyond is a high priority in Family Social Science. Research and outreach efforts have especially focused on economically vulnerable families. Projects focus on:
Supporting economically vulnerable families
Improving the viability of family business
Helping families make economic decisions in later life
Protecting the economic well-being of families during and after divorce
A variety of FSoS courses are available to learn more about the issues surrounding economic well-being. Both graduate and undergraduate level courses focus on the economic issues facing families in trying times.
