Research efforts in the department cover the lifespan, from couples experiencing the transition to parenthood or divorce, to families with school age and adolescent children, and families with aging members.
A variety of FSoS courses are available to learn more about the issues surrounding development across lifespans. Both graduate and undergraduate level courses focus on the internal dynamics of families and their external social and economic contexts.
